Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi received 2027 Emergency Preparedness Kits!
Aaron Ruiz, who selected Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi to be the beneficiary of his Eagle Scout Project, provided a total of 2027 Emergency Preparedness Kits. These kits were distributed to all rural areas, to our Toys for Tots applicants, and to all members in our Ministry & Life Enrichment Programs. The last 24 kits included t-shirts, cereals, and mac & cheese for our service projects that we have planned for December. Aaron also earned his Life Rank. His dog, Princess Fergie, has been at his side the whole way. Aaron belongs to Boy Scout Troop 87 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.
Since 1912 more than two million Boy Scouts have earned the Eagle Scout award – Scouting’s highest rank advancement. Eagle Scouts exemplify the virtues of service, leadership, and duty to God, using their training and influence to better their communities and the world.
Congratulations to Aaron and Thank you for Helping Your Community and Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi. This gift is such a blessing. It really helps us!
