ENRICHING THE LIVES OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR
FAMILIES, THROUGH SPIRITUAL AND MORAL SUPPORTThe Ministry of Life Enrichment for Persons with Special Abilities is a program that promotes the spiritual, social, and educational skills of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those who are blind, visually impaired, Deaf, or Hard of Hearing (DHH), along with their families.

What We Provide
- Special Masses with monthly fellowship
- Sacramental Preparation classes
- Catechesis of the good Shepherd (Religious Education) for individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Recreational activities
- Life skills and educational workshops
- Volunteer opportunities
- Summer camps and picnics
- Home and hospital visits
Services provided in English, Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL).

Educational Activities Offered
Living and Learning is an engaging and educational workshop held on Mondays, designed specifically for deaf individuals. It offers a unique opportunity to develop and enhance socialization skills through interactive activities and collaborative exercises.
Fun Day offers a variety of interactions. Participants can look forward to engaging in educational activities, various workshops, playing games, Zumba sessions, and more. This program, held on Wednesdays, is for those individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Summer Camp for adults with intellectual and/ or developmental disabilities:- Fr. Walsh’s Annual Summer Camp offers campers an opportunity for spiritual growth, social interaction, and lots of fun!
- Vacation Bible School is a one-day camp for children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities for children aged 4 to 13.
- Summer Fun Days provides caregivers and parents respite care hours and sponsors fun-filled days at Catholic Charities and in the community.
