The Ministries & Life Enrichment of Persons with Special Abilities Program at Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi invites the community to its Cinco de Mayo Community Fiesta celebration.
This free, family-friendly indoor/outdoor event will feature craft vendors, door prizes, raffle drawings, educational workshops, food trucks, information tables, and live entertainment from local groups and musicians. All proceeds will benefit The Ministries & Life Enrichment of Persons with Special Abilities Program, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those who are blind, visually impaired, Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH), along with their families.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at this year’s Fr. Walsh Summer Camp! Designed for adults (ages 18 and up) with a Special Ability who are Blind, Deaf, or Hard of Hearing, this 3-day camp will take place June 10–12, 2025, at the St. John Paul II High School Cafeteria (3036 Saratoga Blvd). Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, with check-in and breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. The $25 non-refundable registration fee includes a camp t-shirt and daily snacks. Extra t-shirts are available for $10.
Space is limited. Registration is complete only once payment and forms are received by May 22.

Please note: A parent or guardian/provider will need to accompany their adult child if they need assistance with eating or personal hygiene.Join us for a fun-filled day of adventure and faith at this year’s True North Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Designed for children ages 4 to 13 with a Special Ability who are Blind, Deaf, or Hard of Hearing, this 1-day event will take place on June 13, 2025, at the St. John Paul II High School Cafeteria (3036 Saratoga Blvd). Check-in and breakfast begin at 9 a.m., and programming runs until 2 p.m. The non-refundable $15 per child registration fee includes a camp t-shirt and snacks. Extra t-shirts are available for $10. Siblings are welcome to attend with paid registration.
