The Crisis Assistance & Self-Sufficiency Services Department consists of 6 programs that work together to help in a time of crisis when the need is immediate as well as offering long-term assistance through self-sufficiency.

Catholic Charities - Flour Bluff
Assisting those in need in the 78418 area with a food pantry, clothes, diapers, and referrals, as well as, providing a link to other Catholic Charities services.

Emergency Aid Program
Provides emergency assistance with food, clothing, electric & utility bills, rent & rent deposits, limited transportation assistance, and other emergency needs.

Power Up! Self-Sufficiency Program
Voluntary program, developed for individuals and families who wish to improve their financial situation, eliminate dependency, and are motivated to change their lives. Program includes Financial Empowerment Classes, Suit Up, and Resource Connections.

Prescription Assistance Program
A comprehensive program available to assist clients in finding the least-cost formulary for their monthly prescription medications.

Rural Outreach and Food Pantries
All services provided by Catholic Charities in Corpus Christi are available to rural communities as funds allow.

SNAP Assistance
SNAP application assistance is offered through our Emergency Aid Program, Catholic Charities-Flour Bluff, and our Rural Outreach Program.
