For over half a century, Catholic Charities of Corpus Christi has been a beacon of hope during the holiday season, extending a helping hand to those in need across the 12 counties of the Diocese of Corpus Christi. For more than four decades, we've proudly partnered with the U.S. Marines Toys For Tots Program, ensuring children in Nueces County experience the joy of Christmas. We have proudly partnered with the U. S. Marines Toys For Tots Program, bringing joy to children in Nueces County.
This year, we will provide holiday meals to 2,500 households and assist families in requesting toys by helping them register directly with Toys For Tots.

Registration Details
Registration will be open from October 1 to October 31. Families can register during the month of October on Mondays through Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. Please note that registration for a food basket is required.
Due to a lack of internet access or a computer, we will assist families with Toys For Tots registration (on the Toys For Tots website). Please ensure you have a valid email address. Once registered, families will receive an email notification directly from Toys For Tots with the pickup date and time. Toys can be collected from the designated Toys For Tots distribution location. -
Distribution Dates
Families who pre-register will be able to pick up their food baskets via drive-through (unless otherwise stated below) from December 17 to December 19 at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi.
Tuesday, December 17 - Registered families with last names A - L from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 18 - Registered families with last names M - Z from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, December 19 - Registered "Walk-up" families arriving on foot, by bus, or by bicycle from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, December 19 - Registered families from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. -
Special Blessing Ceremony
Join us for the Blessing of the People by Bishop Michael Mulvey on December 17th at 8:30 a.m. at 615 Oliver Ct., Corpus Christi. All are welcome to attend!

Registration Details
Registration for participants opens on October 7 and runs through November 20. Families are encouraged to register early by calling Isabel Hernandez or Marian Rose Swetish at (361) 884-0651 to secure their spot.

Distribution Date
The Heart of Christmas event will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. John Paul II High School, located at 3036 Saratoga Blvd. This year's event will feature a drive-through experience, ensuring a safe and festive celebration for all participants. Each child attending will receive a sack lunch and a gift from each vendor. Santa Claus will appear to bring holiday cheer, and a DJ will be on hand to keep the Christmas spirit alive.

Seeking Vendors!
We are currently seeking vendors to help make this event even more magical. There is no vendor fee; vendors are asked to provide giveaways for at least 150 participants, along with program information if applicable. Festive booths or vehicle trunks are encouraged, and vendors should bring their own setup (tables, chairs, etc.). Registration for vendors closes on December 5. This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses and organizations to spread holiday cheer and show their support for individuals with special abilities.
