Ministry and Life Enrichment for the Disabled

Ministry and Life Enrichment for the Disabled (Began 1984)

The primary purpose of the department is to provide guidance, support and knowledge through education to all persons with disabilities. The program focuses in providing special Masses for the disable community including the hearing impaired, religious classes, social activities, and home visits for all persons with disabilities in Corpus Christi and surrounding counties. Transportation is provided to those wishing to participate but cannot do so because of the lack of transportation or distance from County to County or City to City.

Office for Persons with a Disability first began in 1983. The program provides area wide educational, spiritual, and recreational programs for the hearing impaired, the deaf, vision impaired, the blind, mentally challenged, and those with a disability that are limited to participate in some social activities.
